HOW TO UNDERSTAND THIS ANALYSIS
« The Green line is the "Total $ Paid After X Years" (This is the total dollars paid after X years including P&I payments, mortgage insurance payments, and initial closing costs).
« The Red line is the "Total Principal Balance After X Years" (This is the payoff after X years).
« The Blue line is the "Total $ Paid and Principal Balance After X Years" (This is a total of the Green line and the Red line. The lower this number is the more profitable the loan program after X years).
« On ARMs (Adjustable Rate Mortgages), this Analysis is only applicable until the date of the first adjustment. For example on a 5/1 ARM, the Analysis is only applicable for the first 5 years. On a 10/1 ARM, the Analysis is only applicable for the first 10 years.
